MEET BRAD

Brad Geiner with family.
Riverside Park in Perrysburg.

My name is Brad Geiner, and I'm running for Perrysburg City Council. I'm a husband, a father, and a Union Sheet Metal worker. I've lived in Perrysburg for over eight years with my wife and our six children, five of which have attended or are currently attending Perrysburg schools.

Before I moved to Perrysburg, I was born and raised in Toledo. Growing up, my parents instilled in me that hard work and determination are the keys to success, and that it's important to lend a helping hand to anyone in need whenever you can. They lived out these principles every day, never passing up an opportunity to create a sense of community in our neighborhood by helping children and animals in need in various different ways.

These values that my parents passed onto me left a major impact, and I've carried their teachings with me throughout my life. After graduating high school, I worked tirelessly to pursue a what is now a 20-year career as a Union Sheet Metal worker. I've spent half of that career working as a foreman, running jobs, and helping others find success in our field. Outside of my job, I do what I can to help the people in our community by volunteering at women’s shelters for domestic abuse survivors, as well as teaching children and young adults martial arts.

At the end of the day, I have a desire to help others and the drive to make changes for the better. It's what inspires me to be the best husband, father, and community member I can be, and it's why I'm running for  Perrysburg city council. With your support, I will make sure everyone has a voice and a seat at the table when it comes to all issues that impact our community, schools, and businesses. We will build a stronger Perrysburg, and we will build it together.
